Large tropical evergreen shrubs or small trees.The large oblong to lanceolate-oblong leaves are stiff and often highlighted with a red margin.The large spectacular flowers are quite variable in coloring, ranging from orange with a white throat to golden yellow to red with a yellow throat.Native to Borneo where it occurs as an epiphyte from sea level to 5,000 ft.
