 Tropical evergreen shrubs with long and pendent tubular flowers, pink or pinkish-violet in color.  The long narrow leaves are leathery, smooth and dark green above with a deeply impressed midvein, paler green beneath.  A beautiful, distinct and easily grown vireya.  Native to Sabah on the island of Borneo from 3,600 to 5,900 ft.
