Tropical evergreen shrubs or small trees with large funnel-shaped orange to orange-yellow or saffron-yellow flowers.Dark green oblong leaves in pseudowhorls.A relatively easy and very showy vireya.Native to Papua New Guinea where it occurs in forest clearings, rocky areas and dry grassy slopes from 3,000 to 5,700 ft.
