Densely-branched shrub with a low spreading habit.This evergreen azalea has ovate-elliptic leaves covered on both surfaces with long shining brown hairs.The flowers are rose-pink with crimson spots on the upper lobes.Rare in cultivation and native only on the island of Taiwan where it occurs in mountain forests.
