X Phylliopsis ‘Coppelia’  A dwarf evergreen shrublet related to rhodies. The small, shiny and dark green, narrow leaves are densely arranged around the upright stems. This is a bigeneric hybrid between two choice ericaceous plants native to the western USA – Phyllodoce empetriformis x Kalmiopsis leachiana. The saucer-shaped flowers are a clear lavender-pink. Very floriferous and easily grown in sun or light shade with good drainage. Winner of the RHS Award of Merit in 1982.  (0)  RSBG#1993/5066
