Magnolia wilsonii  A deciduous magnolia native to China, related to the more familiar M. sieboldii. This species has an upright, bushy habit with arching overhead stems. The large fragrant white flowers appear in early summer -  hanging upside down so best viewed from beneath the arching stems. A stunning companion for rhodies, sun or light shade.
