Lysichiton camtschatcensis  The north-eastern Asia version of our own common western skunk-cabbage – Lysichiton americanus. This species is smaller and slower-growing than our native and has pure white flowers instead of yellow. A stunning and rarely offered perennial for moist shaded sites. Great for bog-gardens, pond margins and low-lying wet areas as well as rich garden soil.  (-25)  RSBG
