Iris delavayi  CCHH#8263  Tall and elegant Iris species up to five feet in height when blooming in early summer. The spectacular flowers are of the Sibirica type with large rounded blue-violet falls spotted white towards the base and deep violet, narrow standards. Quite adaptable but at its best in a moisture-retentive organic soil with lots of sun. My own collection from 7,850 ft. on the Cang Shan of NW Yunnan, China.
