Availability: in stock

A densely-branched evergreen to partially deciduous azalea with thin branches and tiny hairy leaves up to around one half inch in length.  The flowers (late spring) are rose-pink to white.  This is an interesting and attractive species with extremely tiny leaves for a rhododendron.  Quite unique in appearance with a very fine texture.  Native to S Japan and a good species for hot and humid climates.
