A compact to somewhat open-growing evergreen shrub with small obovate and smooth green leaves.  The small but interesting yellow flowers are bell-shaped with widely flaring lobes.  An unusual and relatively hardy species requiring excellent drainage.  Found only on the island of Taiwan where it occurs as an epiphyte in rain forests from 6,000 to 8,500 ft.
